Klimt02 כותבים: While our graduates from previous years continue to reap successes in the local and international arena, the new graduates fulfill the department's vision with an impressive combination of originality and personal expression along with professionalism in design, materiality and conceptual innovation. The studies in the department strive to stimulate the students. To ask principle questions about material, body and language, to look for broad, interdisciplinary and innovative definitions of jewelry, its roles in our lives and the possible interactions with it.

The projects on display stem from personal journeys of exploratory and in-depth observation of various and varied aspects of the fabric of life. This journey involves a re-examination of the question of the identity and function of the jewel, and a dialogue with a number of motifs that are sometimes intertwined in one project. One such motif is the preoccupation with questions of identity – personal, physical, gender, ethnic, national or design – and the contexts and relationships embodied in these identities.
