On Sunday, October 10, 2022, Shenkar held an event for the college faculty and all department employees.
During the event, held on the rooftop of the Pernick Building, professor Sheizaf Rafaeli, the president of Shenkar, presented a few of the college's core values, including creativity, inquisitiveness, multi-disciplinarity, internationalism, leadership, excellence, humanity, sustainability and collaboration.
Rafaeli also touched upon Shenkar’s code of ethics, shared Shenkar's success stories from the past year, and introduced the college's new CEO – Yoni Even-Tov.

The main topic of the evening was Shenkar’s engagement with artificial intelligence (AI).
At a convention Shenkar will be hosting with Portfolio magazine in the Tel Aviv Museum of Art this December, as well as a larger convention in the spring, the academic and administrative faculty received department-specific name tags designed by the Midjourney lab, to demonstrate artificial intelligence products for the guests. Watch a lecture by a group of researchers from the School of Industrial Engineering & Management – Dr. Michal Koren, Dr. Oded Koren, and Or Peretz (who recently published an article on artificial intelligence in the prestigious journal, Engineering Applications of Artificial Intelligence) on the effects of artificial intelligence on professions such as medicine and design, and a lecture by Dr. Vered Pnueli – head of the master’s degree program in Digital Game Design and Development – who surveyed the field of AI in the world of gaming and the development of these systems in recent years.

Afterward, “Free Guy” was screened, a movie that tells the story of a minor character in a computer game who develops consciousness of his reality and tries to break free.
The successful and exciting evening was produced by Erica Drober, the Shenkar president’s chief of staff, together with Shenkar’s events department.
