In 2020 the Kadar Center launched a unique and intensive interdisciplinary study track in interactivity: The Group for Interactivity.
Every year 25 students from different Shenkar departments join the group in their second year of studies, which operates in parallel to their departmental studies. These students are united by a passion for interactive design, a field in which they use tech, design, behavioral science and critical thinking tools to create a meeting point between people, objects and environments.
The group incudes two to three students from each department. The students take one interactivity course each semester, starting in the second semester of their second year, at the Design and Technology Center. In their fourth year, they complete an interactive graduate project within their own department, with the support of the Kadar Design and Technology Center.
