The Department of Software Engineering at Shenkar in Collaboraion with the IDF’s School of Computer Science (Basmach)
The Department of Software Engineering at Shenkar continues its fruitful, valuable, and pioneering cooperation with the IDF and its technological units.
In line with the department’s affiliation with the intelligence and defense industries, we have established a collaboration between the Department of Software Engineering at Shenkar and Basmach (the IDF’s School of Computer Science and Cybersecurity).
Basmach graduates who wish to study at the Department of Software Engineering at Shenkar are exempt from certain courses in the B.Sc. program in software engineering.
The IDF’s School of Computer Science and Cybersecurity trains soldiers for technological roles in the IDF and offers courses in programming, cybersecurity, software testing and more. Graduates of Basmach who choose to further their education at Shenkar and pursue a software engineering degree will be eligible for various benefits depending on the courses they completed during their service.
These exemptions pave the way for less hectic semesters, enabling students to advance and excel in their studies and in industry.
