Work & Study Programs: The Concentrated Track in Software Engineering
The Department of Software Engineering at Shenkar offers a concentrated track that enables students to work full-time alongside their studies. The academic curriculum in this track is identical to the regular track: It is a four-year program that awards graduates a B.Sc. in Software Engineering.
Concentrated track students have one full day of classes on Thursdays and two additional half-days each week (Friday mornings and Sunday evenings). An additional evening may be added. To maintain alignment with the regular study track, concentrated track students have classes in the summer semester. In this way, all students are fully in sync at the start of each academic year.
- Please note: Students who need to pass an English course (as determined by their scores in the English level exam) will attend English classes outside the concentrated track timetable. Midterm and end-of-term exams will take place outside the program’s timetable.
