The Department of Polymer Materials Engineering: M.Sc. Program Admission Criteria
Bachelor’s degree: The program is suitable for applicants with a Bachelor of Science degree (B.Sc.) earned with a grade point average of 80 or higher, in a relevant discipline, primarily polymer materials engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, biomedical engineering, and biotech. The program is intended for those who wish to deepen their understanding of polymer materials and become qualified for R&D work in civilian and military industries. The program is also suitable for those interested in pursuing a Ph.D. and embarking on an academic career.
Please note:
- We reserve 10% of all places in the program for students who do not meet the admission criteria. A special admissions committee considers these applicants and makes its decision based on its impression of the applicants’ commitment and dedication and their ability to complete the program. The committee may also set conditions for the applicants’ final admission. Candidate screening is coordinated by the Registration and Information Center.
- Candidates with bachelor’s degrees in disciplines that do not provide the necessary knowledge to start the program may be required to complete certain courses as a prerequisite.
- Candidates with three-year bachelor’s degrees will be required to complete one year of preparatory studies.
- Candidates whose grades do not meet the criteria may still apply for the program. The admissions committee may decide to admit candidates who do not meet the admission criteria.
- All communication regarding admissions and candidacy, including exam invitations and acceptance/rejection letters, will be sent via email. Please make sure you provide complete and correct information when applying for the program.
