Message to Students Regarding the Security Situation

Dear Students,

We are following the security situation with concern and hoping for better, quieter days.

We are doing everything we can to make adjustments that allow you to continue learning while staying safe and secure. Therefore, in light of the recent security events and in accordance with the instructions of the Home Front Command, classes will be conducted online from Tuesday 18.5.21 until Friday 21.5.21, and attendance will not be mandatory.

Likewise, to accommodate students who have been called up for reserve duty or who are struggling to concentrate during class due to the situation, all classes will be recorded and the due dates for all submissions will be postponed by one week. 

Additionally, please note that Shenkar’s various campuses will remain open during this period for individual study, including the computer labs and workshops (which will be supervised by administrative staff until 18:00).

The Shenkar library will operate online during opening hours.

We are deeply aware of the distress and difficulties many of our students are facing, and we are acting to quickly address the enquiries and requests that reach us either directly or via representatives from the Student Union.

Student Union Hotline
