The Rozen Center for Sustainability
The Rozen Center for Sustainability acts as a platform for promoting and implementing the field of sustainability both theoretically and practically. The Center is based on 17 UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDG’s), and under this framework carries out projects from the academic field, through the private sector to governmental institutions. Shenkar - an Interdisciplinary Academy - combines design, engineering and art, enables ideas and solutions to be produced in diverse knowledge fields.
Activities of the Center
The Center for Sustainability manages the Green Campus project at Shenkar according to the guidelines of the Ministry of Environmental Protection.
Accompanying courses, research and projects within and off campus and works to implement relevant ideas.
Providing advise on areas of sustainability for the academic sector, the private sector and the government sector.
“open door” Policy for students and lecturers regarding information on sustainability issues.
Head of the Center
Michael Keidar, Textile Designer , OEKO-TEX representative in Israel, Lecturer at the Textile Design Department and the Interdisciplinary Department on subjects of entrepreneurship and environment .
