Student Communities in Pardes Katz

Student Communities in Pardes Katz

The program operates in collaboration with Shenkar and offers students the opportunity to live close to the college, receive a scholarship and rent assistance of up to NIS 16,000, and participate in community activism.

The Tozeret Haaretz Student Communities program, in collaboration with Shenkar, works to establish activist communities in the geo-social periphery, with the aim of growing young communities that will contribute to a transformed and fairer society.

Pardes Katz is a mixed secular/religious neighborhood with tremendous untapped potential. It is located in central Israel, close to Ramat Gan and, in particular, to Shenkar.

The convergence of a group of motivated young people and long-time neighborhood residents is mutually beneficial and drives meaningful processes of social change.

The community meets on a weekly basis for community building work, and shares shabbats, holidays, trips, seminars and more. At the same time, students participate in dozens of social initiatives.
