The Center for Excellence in Education
We provide expert support with designing and implementing teaching and learning strategies in diverse environments: studios, classrooms and technologically enriched spaces.
Established in 2016, The Center for Excellence in Education at Shenkar aims to make the learning and teaching experience at Shenkar more meaningful by promoting innovative teaching methods. The center supports Shenkar’s teaching community through a comprehensive suite of services, programs and initiatives, including teaching workshops, one-on-one consulting for educators, and support for educators developing and implementing new ed-tech and improving existing methods.
The center works hand-in-hand with academic and administrative units, individual lecturers and student representatives to create and promote engaging and modern learning environments. To maintain an environment that encourages innovation in education, the center’s team brings to the table an in-depth knowledge of both teaching and tech, as well as curiosity, critical thinking and an openness to collaborations.
