Sex-Engine – How Porn made the Internet

Pornography is notoriously under- and overrated, morally condemned and deemed as sexually empowering, savior and corruptor at the same time.

Pushed into the illegal corners of society, the industry pioneered ways to get its content to paying users, always on the bleeding-edge of the next trend to come.

Not only is the “Internet for Porn”, the sex industry helped the WWW develop, rise and finally fell victim to its structure based on searchable key words and benefitting from free tube-sites. Join me for a tale about sex, technology and reinvention.
