Renate Menzi is the curator of the Design Collection at Switzerland’s leading design and visual communication museum, Museum für Gestaltung Zürich. Trained as a product designer and in cultural studies at the Zurich University of the Arts, the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem, and Humboldt University in Berlin.
Teaches, publishes and conducts research in the field of design, and is a member of the Swiss Federal Design Commission since 2009. Exhibitions and publications: Form Guide, 2009; Make up – Designing surfaces, 2010; Freitag – Out of the Bag, 2012; 100 Years of Swiss Design, 2014.
