Approximately 100 face shields were sent to Hadassah Medical Center, initiated by Shenkar`s “Keter Plastics Digital Prototyping Center”

Just in time for the holidays: Over 100 face shields, created through 3D printing technology at Shenkar`s “Keter Plastics Digital Prototyping Center”, were sent to Hadassah Medical Center to protect as many medical teams as possible.

The upgraded face shield model is tailored to Shenkar college printers and also provides a response and solutions that are not in the official model such as:

  • The model is designed for small printers.
  • There is no need for a slide, the slide will catch under pressure.
  • Wearing of the head protector with rubber loops to increase and decrease the size.
  • The visor is not facing the front and therefore provides an excellent response to visual challenges as well as preventing echo.
