Jesper Juul is a Danish game designer and researcher, and a professor at Danmarks Designskole. His book on video game theory, “Half-Real: Video Games Between Real Rules and Fictional Worlds”, was published by MIT Press in 2005 and included by designer Ernest Adams on his list of "50 Books for Everyone in the Game Industry”.

During his lecture, Juul will talk about his impressive body of gaming work and provide a professional behind-the-scenes perspective of the field.
