Anna Gitelson-Kahn is a textile designer, researcher and educator, works primarily in knitting.
Gitelson-Kahn received her BS in Mathematics and Computer Science from Ben-Gurion University, Israel, and her MFA in Textiles from RISD (Rhode Island School of Design), USA. She has taught in the Department of Textile Design since 2011 and serves as Knitting Program Coordinator of the department.
Anna is the lead designer for her brand ANNA. The brand was launched in 2014 as a platform to explore different design issues as well as produce high quality timeless objects. ANNA’s collections are annually presented at leading international trade shows, such as Maison&Objet in Paris and Ambiente in Frankfurt, and are sold in selected stores in Israel and Europe and online.
Anna presented at several exhibitions including a solo exhibition in 2015 in Periscope Gallery in Tel Aviv. Her works are included in private collections as well as the RISD museum.
