Welcom to the department of Fashion Design
The department of fashion design prepares its graduates to be fashion designers, who are professional experts, skilled in the design and technical aspects of the fashion field on the one hand, and deeply knowledgeable of the design, art and culture world, on the other.
The study program encourages original and creative personal expression in all aspects of the fashion and accessories world.
A fashion designer, as any other field in the world of design and maybe even more so, must be contemporary, sensitive to all the changes and developments around him/her, and nevertheless, know the local and global cultural heritage. To that end, the study program in the department is divided into four main fields:
- Practice in all aspects of fashion design.
- Design and art studies.
- Theoretical studies - to expand the student’s knowledge in the field of general and local culture.
- Professional studies in the fashion field (including use of computer software).
