The department of Interior, Building and Environment Design of Shenkar is hosting the exhibition: Digital Survey and Documentation of the Archaeological and Architectural: Samples of sites from the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The exhibition presents work implemented within the framework of academic workshops and research activity done by the Laboratory for Survey & Design at the Universities of Florence and Pavia in numerous sites from the UNESCO world heritage list and in collaboration with several academic institutions around the world, as well as local cultural and administrative authorities.
These documentations were executed by employing the most advanced technologies in the field of survey, namely laser scanning and photogrammetry. Shenkar has been an active partner in three of the projects presented in this exhibition: the archaeological site of Masada and the city of Acre in Israel, as well as the Villa Petraia of the Medici family in Italy.
